The Importance of Being Earnest is a genuinely bellyaching funny play! The cast is phenomenal and will have you laughing the entire time! The Butler and Nancy LaScala who played Lady Bracknell absolutely stole the show! This is a must see for anyone looking to have a good laugh!! ... full review

I LOVED LOVED LOVED the play. All of you worked seamlessly together as if you'd been doing this production for years. You, of course, were my fave character but that doesn't take away from the brilliant acting of the entire cast. This being one of Oscar Wilde's most famous works, you all knocked it out of the park. BRAVO AND STANDING O!... full review

This show was so hilarious. It was so entertaining! It's such a classic show and this production has such a fresh and new queer spin on it that fits SO perfectly. The actors were hilarious and were well directed. The show was shorter than I expected and had a great pace. I would go see it again, which is saying A LOT. I can't wait for the next Queer Classic production! I hope there's more.... full review

Oscar Wilde's play is one of the funniest of all time, and Queer Classics with Casey Kringlen at the helm has truly produced a fresh, funny, and poignant take on this classic. The cast is full of strong standouts with hilarious moments, and they bring energy, verve, and a love for the language to the stage. I had such a blast watching this show, and much of that is thanks to the direction, which keeps things moving in this snappy 90-minute version and fills it with hilarious moments. Most importantly, the reinterpretation feels like a no-brainer -- something that Oscar Wilde absolutely would have done in his day if he were allowed. I can't recommend this show highly enough. See it see it see it! ... full review

Hysterically funny with new meaning to many of Wilde's classic lines delivered by a very talents and fun-loving cast telling the story of two couples fighting for the right to be engaged. This masterful satire written by Oscar Wilde (who was arrested in 1895 for "gross indecency with men”) would thoroughly delight his heart. Now that everyone has the legal right to marry, it’s timely for the play to be performed the way Wilde would have loved it done. This timeless story gallivants through a world obsessed with appearances, money and social status. The parallels with today’s Hollywood culture make for searing fun, and by presenting the four lovers as gay men, Queer Classics presents the play in a more hysterically fabulous fashion than ... full review

What a great show! Well staged and acted and so very very funny. The entire cast was excellent and extremely funny. And so very cute, well ok some are down right sexy the postcards do not do them justice, but the real winner is the twist. The fabulous gayness of it all. It really works. It's so very earnest!!! To be honest I was planning on skipping what I assumed would be a camp Earnest. Then at the Fringe Queer Meet and Greet I met Nancy and I thought "hmm a young pretty woman as Lady Bracknell in a gay version what IS going on!!!" So I sauntered over.....I am so very happy I did. GO. One wonders if Wilde isn't gushing in playwright heaven! I give it five cucumber sandwiches!... full review

Casey Kringlen & Co.'s Earnest Love letter to Oscar Wilde. When I heard this production featured young men as the budding English roses whom daring suitors risk all to win, I was intrigued; and, happily, not disappointed. I'm among many who consider this one of the finest comedies ever written. Its flow of witty remarks and dueling dialogue require meticulous delivery and timing. This talented ensemble met those challenges with flair, while encompassing the added dimension. The play opens in the home of Algernon, whose privileged status allows him to fritter away his time, where Eric DeLoretta, as his manservant, Lane, set the pace - whisking about with cheeky insouciance and prescient devotion. Philip Orazio played ‘Algy” with a ma... full review
