My overall impression
Powerful. Evocative. Moving. As if peering from behind a closet door we glimpse inside the lives of those close to Abraham Lincoln and what it may have been like to stand alongside him, or fall into his shadow. There were no weak links in this cast each supporting the other’s tight-wire act nuanced with their characters hopes and frailties. A place of nourishment to sit down to.
