"Greatest Lovers" incredibly rocking and well written music had me in chills from beginning to end. I didn't want it to end! Everyone in the car ride home were singing the songs as if they came home with a piece of it in their heart. ... full review

I had very high expectations for this show because I'm such a Lennon junkie...and I was not disappointed! This show gave me an entirely different perspective of Yoko and if Yoko herself saw this production I am sure she would be proud to be attached to it in some way. The music was amaaaaazing. Anzu Lawson is a brilliant artist and her portrayal of Yoko Ono was spot on. I did not want this piece to end....it is definitely Broadway-worthy. If I had a lot of money, I'd produce the full production on Broadway myself! This is a MUST SEE at Fringe! ... full review

Loved this show!!!!! -- Anzu Lawson was phenominal as Yoko!!!!! The singing was fabulous, and the story was a wonderful insight to John and Yoko and what they endured to be together. It was very enlightening and a must see for sure! Highly recommend it to everyone!... full review

I loved this play, and I'm shocked it's not even listed in the L.A. Weekly, let alone reviewed! A few of the others they review were good enough, true, but this one has been the best I've seen, in this festival and on the theatre scene, for some time!!... full review

Got to see this show on Sunday! And I must say, I was not disappointed. Forget about the fact that I love a good uplifting musical. But more importantly it was great to sit down to a learn a little more about people you know, but "don't". The music was on point; Enough story to leave you satisfied;..... Dare I say Broadway-Bound? Great work Anzu and company! Great work! ... full review

From beginning to end, Rock and Roll's Greatest Lovers was thoroughly entertaining and riveting. Music, performances, art direction…everything worked so well and made this production and it's beautiful message of love both memorable and thought provoking. Anzu Lawson was absolutely Yoko Ono and beyond. Her voice, in all aspects, shines through and made for an evening that was at once funny, heart breaking and full of love. I am very glad to have seen it and hope it expands to more performances. I would recommend this play to everyone. Thank you.... full review

This is a spectacular production -- with Broadway calibre music, lyrics, singing, and story! I feel privileged to have seen it here -- in its earliest incarnation -- because this musical is no doubt destined for larger and larger audiences. High quality work all around! ... full review

Anzu = Yoko. Nuff said. She was totally mesmorizing in her role. I could not take my eyes off her - everything from her speaking voice to her expressions, I thought Anzu WAS Yoko. Now, let's talk about her singing voice...on fact the whole cast, dear LORD can they SING! Everyone I was with agreed Anzu was a total rockstar (the gentleman playing John Lennon was also a total powerhouse) but more importantly the whole team delivered on a level of conviction that sold the story they came to tell. As for Anzu's writing, it's sort of unbelievable that this is her FIRST musical, though she has written countless songs, and it just goes to show that some people just HAVE it. The style of rock 'n roll she delivered, did not pander to either the Beatle... full review

Beautiful talent... powerful story... wonderful music... just a few of elements that make this show a gem. I wasn't familiar with Yoko's story when I walked into the theater... but was immediately drawn in by the frenzied and passionate drum-dancing performed by Rebecca Ocampo and Deja Soufka. We were transported through the controversial tale of John Lennon and Yoko's love affair under Nell Teare's artful direction and choreography... not to mention the powerful, soul-shaking vocals of Anzu Lawson (playing Yoko.) She brought so much heart and wisdom to Yoko that I walked away a new fan of this progressive, peace-pushing artist. Tom Mesmer plays a great John Lennon with a passionate rock n' roll voice and classic wire-rimmed glasses. This s... full review
