Very funny and affectionate riff on the classic novel and many iconic science fiction narratives. The two performers use a clever element of their costumes to quickly shift from one character/situation to another and add an otherworldly atmosphere to the show. Well worth seeing!... full review

This show was amazing! Charles have brought their A-game to this witty retelling of a classic tale. Fans and newbies alike will all find something to love in this unique show that you won't want to miss. The duo have cleverly crafted a relatable and hilarious space comedy. Just go for the ingeniously crafted LED space helmets alone!... full review

Moby Alpha is a creative, smart, and funny show. The show has less to do with an actual plot/Moby Dick as it is a fun showcase for the two talented performers, opportunities to drop in a bunch of Sci-Fi references, and ultra cool use of the space helmets. This show is absolutely worth your time. ... full review

This show was not only completely, actually-belly-laugh-not-just-chuckle hilarious--it was also one of the most creative shows I've ever seen. This show had really been built up to me before I saw it, and it seemed like it couldn't possibly be THAT good. Nope--it's that good. ... full review

I can't say enough good things about Moby Alpha. It's clever, entertaining, witty and re-tells the story of Moby Dick in a way you have probably never imagined. Such a great time from start to finish. ... full review

I was drawn into this show by the LED helmets they were wearing at the opening party. Let's just say I was not disappointed! Moby Alpha was a very clever and well executed show! They were innovative with their use of props and lighting. The audience was literally "ooh"ing and "ah"ing at their transitions. You can tell that both of the performers work well together. They were very in sync and their physical comedy was spot on! I highly recommend this show, especially to those who love their sci-fi! ... full review

This review by Jason Rohrer at Stage and Cinema: SOBER CANNIBALS, DRUNKEN CHRISTIANS This show made me wish I had chosen to sit through Lost Moon Radio's Million Dollar Hair again. If this sounds like faint praise, it is; I did not enjoy Million Dollar Hair. But Moby Alpha, as conceived and performed by Seattle sketch comics Chuck Armstrong and Charlie Stockman, is unfunny on a more fundamental level than Million Dollar Hair is unfunny. A one-hour-and-change two-man Moby-Dick set in outer space, Moby Alpha has the more original conceit. Lost Moon Radio has the edge in performance and character creation and just plain chops. Moby Alpha wins the props competition, with a pair of impressive LED-lit space helmets. What the two shows s... full review
