About the Project
Mark C. Reis, a professional Broadway dancer (FOSSE/CHICAGO), who with his partner, moves from New York City to Los Angeles in order to learn more about adoption and creating a family. After 4 years, the adoption of their son is finalized and Mark now finds himself at home primarily as a “stay at home dad”. He loves being a father, but finds that thru his son, his creativity is being triggered again as he starts writing books, stories and his own 1 Man Show – “Diapers, Dishes and Dreams…stories of a dancer”. A cabaret piece, Mark incorporates his stories with dance and songs from classic Broadway musical theatre to help descibe his dreams and desires to pursue performing again. A funny, joyous piece meant to delight, motivate and inspire! Lighthearted yet poignant and touching. Enjoyable for all.
