My overall impression
Those who don’t learn their history are doomed to repeat it. Well, pull up a chair and open your minds, folks, because this show’s going to drop a little knowledge on you. Fascinating concept – a dramatic staging of one of Playboy’s biggest interviews with perhaps the most polarizing figure in gay rights history. A solid, thought-provoking look at the way we once were (and in some places, unfortunately still are) as a society. On one hand, it’s great to see how far we’ve come, yet it’s clear we still have a ways to go.
