My overall impression
A pure pleasure. I’m so glad I had a chance to see the Bakeress do her good work. “And She Bakes, Live” elevates self-deprecation and self-effacement to an art form. It’s a dangerous line to walk, but she includes us on her journey with her incredibly sweet, endearing personality. But it’s what is brewing just below the surface of her sugary exterior that really lends the show weight and power. One of the best solo shows at the Fringe.
