My overall impression

This show is incredible! Daliya is so very gifted and brave. Her storytelling is compelling from the minute she enters the theatre (which is when house opens!) The bakeress is funny, endearing, witty, sharp, vulnerable, and all around loveable. Her love advice cuts straight to the point with a layer of sugary sweetness. I was so pulled in to her story….One minute I was laughing, the next I was crying.. then back to laughter, and by the end back to smiling but through tears. Her clever writing takes you on a journey that you do not even realize you signed up for. And I believe those are the most compelling stories of all, the stories that truly surprise you. Her story resonated so deeply with the entire audience, you could feel it. We all know what it’s like to have the ingredients of our lives be thrown off balance and only we can find the right recipe for our happiness. Daliya’s show is a true reminder of this, that no matter what you have been through, working through it to find your own definition true joy makes it all worth it. I absolutely loved her show. Between comedy, drama, and hysterical dance breaks, what is not to love?! AND SHE REALLY BAKES, LIVE! Not only is she an amazing actress and writer, but her baking is top notch. After giving us the gift of her story, she the gave the audience the gift of her baking by offering baked goods during curtain call. Great storytelling AND great dessert? She spoils her audience!! GO SEE IT!!
