Best play we've seen all year. Not simply historically accurate, but also politically and socially relevant to contemporary issues. Extremely funny, with dialect, idioms and puns to match. Great cast and production; superb playwright. Our only regret is that it lasted a mere 55 minutes....

Snippets from the life of Poncho Villa. If I had it to do again, I would have first refreshed my memory by spending 10 minutes on the internet for a little info. on Poncho Villa. All very good actors in a pleasant, short, entertaining play. Creativity to make up for lack of set, and excellent dramatic gesturing and other antics.
The Schkapf theatre is small with all good seats, parking in the lot if you get there early enough, and there is a nice little cafe there for some delicious sweets and beverages, with a comfortable atmosphere and reasonable prices. ...

This show is so much fun! It's a great story; the the actors are clearly having a blast and it's just infectious. The director lightly borrows elements of City Garage style theater in terms of presentation and caricature, but infuses it with a joy that is palpable. GO!!!
