Beautifully written in 8 vignettes over the course of 50 minutes, the show balances the languid nature of everyday relationship dialog with a staccato constantly leaping plotline. It drives toward its finish through a series of scenes that leave the audience as cliffhung as the characters themselves.
If you’ve ever been in a relationship or thought about being in a relationship, the content is for you. Ably helmed by Adrian LaTourelle and finely acted by Fiona Lakeland, Melanie Alexander, and Jeff Bowman, with clever set design by I don’t know who, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You” also provides the requisite glimpse of beautiful bodies that makes the title appropriate. Stop in to Theatre of Note if interested.
