Double Play

My overall impression

Let me reiterate what another reviewer has already said: you don’t have to be a sports fan to enjoy this show! (Because I am not a sports fan, and I did enjoy it.) I thought both the acting and the writing in this show were excellent. The pacing of how the relationship between the two characters takes shape was very believable. There was one especially strong monologue by the female character, Rosalie, that I particularly enjoyed. Be warned that the show is only Act ONE of a two-act play. And once you see the first act, you WILL be curious to see the second.
