My overall impression
I’ve seen pretty much every version of this show, and even co-directed one two years ago, so I was delightfully surprised when I found myself cackling and spontaneously applauding in the middle of scenes. That’s how good the cast is of this show: I can watch a piece I’ve personally blocked out before, and still be riveted.
Hats off to Courtney Bell and Corey Lynn Howe for injecting such energy into the production. And particular shout-outs to Jim Martyka, Ben Atkinson, Lee Pollero, and Jacob Smith; their commitment to every role they play, no matter how silly, is what keeps these scenes fresh.
Highly recommended for a fun Fringe evening.
