My overall impression
LIGATURE MARKS is like a perfect little string quartet, polished and unique and unforgettable. These characters stick with you long after the show ends, and the the structure is rock-solid, & modern without artifice. I have rarely seen two actors more perfectly matched in their ability to create vivid characters without breaking a sweat. Don’t overlook this show in it’s slightly out-of-the-way venue (a wonderfully snug & comfortable Stephanie Feury Studio Theatre). Have patience with the first act, this is a play that builds and builds in its ability to put its hands around your neck.
