Talk about a BOLD production!! The Werewolves of Hollywood Blvd. was wildly funny and entertaining. The actors are all 110% committed to the story and their characters. I loved watching them all interact during the ensemble pieces and really play off of one another. ANDWOWCANTHISCASTSING. The whole time I was watching it I kept having to remind myself I was at the Fringe. A production of this size (set, props, band) on a Fringe stage is so brave and wonderful to commit to. Michael Shaw Fisher’s book and lyrics are clever and sharply written and he rocks the house as the French werewolf. The female werewolf’s song was AMAZING. The actress who played her captivates you from the moment she walks on stage even in the ensemble. Peter Stump also has an incredible voice. The whole cast rocked it out. Kyle’s transformation from A-list shark to wolfish madman is compelling. I really enjoyed it. If you are looking for a great musical at the Fringe, this is the one to see!
