My overall impression
You know the feeling you get when you have discovered something great that few people know about…that is the feeling I had seeing the new original musical — Generation Me. I laughed and I cried and I laughed again. Generation Me and their incredibly talented young (very young) cast took me on an emotional roller coaster that I would love to ride again. They have something here both in the story they tell and the fresh young teenagers who share it that makes you feel the emotional highs and lows of high school life while giving you a very raw view of teen suicide. Can’t wait to see this production evolve and see where some of these kids go with their many talents. Almost forgot to mention — the music and lyrics were also fantastic!
