I don’t know how to describe my feelings towards one of the most amazing shows I’ve ever seen. I balled my eyes out and then laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe all in a matter of seconds. I will have to admit I was a little skeptical walking into an original show performed by teenagers, but that skepticism quickly faded as I was taken on the moving story of generation me. These teenagers are incredibly talented and I couldn’t have picked a better place to be on my Friday night. Everything about this show is perfection. I’m buying a ticket for tomorrow and will probably be going back after that. GO SEE GENERATION ME!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!... full review

As a high school teacher of 28 years, I can say, without hesitation, that this a play that every teen should see. Great music, clever writing and a great mix of humor to go with the struggles of teen life.... full review

This was the second time for me to see the show, and thought it was even better than the first time! Without the distraction of mics, I was able to appreciate the beautiful voices of these young actors. Such a touching story line and I believe the writing about this generation is spot-on. ... full review

This show was blew away my expectations! To think such a heartfelt show full of real life, dark issues could be so realistically portrayed by these kids was astounding. Every character was so honest and unique. Not to mention the music was fantastic, I eagerly bought one was soon as I heard they were for sale! I really recommend this show. Its a show I can absolutely see on Broadway and I would go back and see it again and again if I could.... full review

Generation Me is a fantastic show that everyone should see! The people involved obviously have worked so hard on the show. Their commitment truly blows the audience away in the amazing scenes and songs! The jumps from hilarity to melancholy are emotionally tiring, but in the best way possible. After, you may find yourself asking "Was that really a teen show?". The professional acting and beautiful singing of these young adults is truly awe-inspiring. Furthermore, meeting the cast afterwards was an absolute blessing. All of the actors are such kind, real people who want nothing more than to have a successful run of this fantastic show! I was nervous about meeting them at first, but my nerves were thrown out the window when all of th... full review

Wonderful story, great writing, great cast. An important story which perfectly captured youth and high school. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of the show. Sometimes the music was louder than the songs, which made it at times hard to hear the words, but overall great show!!... full review

Very entertaining show. The director, the blocking, and the actors make a two hour and 45 minute musical swoosh on by! That is no easy feat! All through out the show there were so many laugh out loud moments, and clever yet simple banter that tends to come from the mouths of high school students, mixed in with statements that force you to pause and allow that this play is going to have some darkness or poignancy. The music assists the heavy subject material so you're sort of serenaded in to feeling it. I cried intermittently throughout the play, not by choice. It just takes you there. Each character reminded me of someone I knew or used to know from highschool, college, past life, etc. And you have this experience to see and hear them all t... full review

Generation Me is a must see. We attended with 3 generations...grandparents, parents and teenagers and we all enjoyed the show equally. We all walked out shaking our heads at the exceptional talent which captivated our attention from beginning to end. We laughed and cried and forgot we were sitting in a theater as we were immersed in the lives of those high schoolers and enjoyed the artistic way in which the story was portrayed. The teenage actors in Generation Me are talented well beyond their years and Soto's story and music are captivating, poignant and hugely entertaining. Their next stop is New York and they are sure to be very well received and appreciated there. ... full review

Generation Me was one of my highlights of this Fringe Festival- one of the most poignant and relevant pieces I have seen in years. The vocal stylings of this (all-teenager!) cast were rock solid with particularly beautiful choral/ensemble work. The music in the second act outshined the first act -- some of the songs were a little overambitious- ambitions not unmet by the cast’s abilities, but for a while it felt a little bit like seeing a production of Company where the song “not getting married” is on repeat. I was relieved at the slow down in act two, and was absolutely blown away and moved by several pieces toward the end of the show. Impressive well-written script, tackling a myriad of topics without ever feeling overindulgent – a solid ... full review
