It’s summer of 1969 on Christopher Street in NYC and the fascist policies enforced by the police result in frequent raids of queer spaces. Until one night the Christopher Street community decided to fight back. Various citizens, including Sylvia Rivera and Marsha P. Johnson offer their different perspectives on the nights events which include crooked cops, mafioso catholic priests and the eventual Pride it all led to.
