This play follows Millicent, a hopeful young wizard-to-be, on her quest to become a real wizard and create a spell of her own. But her journey may look familiar to any artist who’s tried to “make it” in a competitive industry, any dreamer who has been squashed, then picked themselves up, then squashed again, or anyone who has bravely dared to go where no one (from their hometown) has gone before. This is a story in support of the dreamers who have had a really hard last six(?) years.
