Loved the interweaving of Shakespeare’s beautiful and often gut punching language (“…and trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries and look upon myself and curse my fate…”) with Alice’s witty, contemporary and pertinent language and relationships of today. The performances are funny but human and there’s even some song and sonnets thrown in. Shakespeare would be proud!
What I didn't like
Loved it all!
My overall impression
A magical mash up of classical and contemporary where we actually root for Hamlet and hope she finds happiness.
