About the Project
In MY Corner, is a new dramatic work of the Joe Orrach Performance Project. Conceived, written, choreographed and performed by actor/dancer Joe Orrach with original score by composer Matt Clark. IMC, a coming of age story about a young boy in a Puerto Rican/Italian household is told through Latin dance, tap, boxing, song and spoken narrative. Born into a family dominated on one side by a line of Puerto Rican boxers and sweetened on the other by a tradition of Italian food, gesture and song, Joe presents a personal story in a high-powered evening of drama, music and movement. The show is as fun and full of life as the performer who created it. A 75 minute show.
