Live on stage- a schlocky sitcom played at triple speed. I suspect the director threatened to fire any cast member who took a breath. Even with the rush, the show was way longer than advertised (and necessary) AND started 15 minutes late. Some (not all) of the cast members are really appealing, and do deserve success on a sitcom. Super fun show. Fast-paced dialogue and actors that can handle it. I enjoyed staying on my toes for the ride. It's too risque for some, certainly; not enough for others; and just right for most of us. Best experienced just a little tipsy, I'd say!...
I was intrigued by the premise of "Fluffy Bunnies in a Field of Daises," but I didn't expect for it to so exceed my expectations.
Bad theater makes people scared to spend a couple hours stuck in a room. You take a risk at the lack of remote, the lack of control.
This show was a well played risk. This show did what good plays do: it made excellent use of the space, the acting was on point from all, and the writing was thought provoking. I woke up the next day still pondering lessons I learned, experiences I vicariously lived and lessons I transcended in my own life.
I would be willing to cast any of the actors in any of my own projects.
