What I liked

The performers chemistry and the production design(mysterious and dark)

What I didn't like

The rhythm and pace of the narrative. The urgency and conflict are heightened only in scenes: the argument between Xolo and Tlades in the celestial realm and the fight against Kulsedon. The variety of energy and be played more in some other scenes, especially the first entrance of Kulsedon.

My overall impression

The sense of finding the love of life was heartwarmingly demonstrated throughout the play. The beginning shows two people who were lost in the world: Mariano who lost the connection from the beloved ones in the family and Xolo who lost spiritual identity and purpose in his eternal life, as well as how these 2 people were stuck in the same work place for survival. The story was well began by introducing the contrast of 2 people: Mariano who lost his family (by unknown reason) and Xolo who tried to run away from his family’s influence. When their accidentally got caught in a century-long conflict, they came to learn there was something much bigger than themselves and turning away from that conflict, though it was directly not theirs, will only worsen the situation. That was when they learnt to think and care about others, not just themselves or just own survival. So, after the fight with Kulsedon, the meaning of life in each other was very heart warming. Javier Galvez (Mariano) and Angel Vazquez(Xolo)’s strongly demonstrated the emotional growth in their characters and made the audience believe that these two people genuinely care for each other. The high praise also goes to Lawrence Bonilla who portrayed the all invincible Tlades de Pueblokan. He was truly powerful and really owned the space. It made a deep emotional impact when he laid down his power and pride for sake of his children.
The actresses (Valery Rozo, Melody Martinez, and Charisma Carillo) who played Las Destinas were really delightful and mysterious. They captured everybody’s eyes every time they entered. Overall, just amazing!
