This show felt like watching a boy playing out his fantasy of being a man via knighthood, and it was a joy to see. I love how Grant kept returning to themes of toxic masculinity, and ultimately transcended it through his performance by being free, playful, and creating community.He built his own crew (squire!), and then shared the power with all of us. This show was an absolute racket from beginning to end. That was the most fun I’ve had in an hour in months. The good knight was silly, expressive, vulnerable, and truly won me over time and time again. I would highly recommend the show to anyone wanting to experience interactive art and true showmanship.
