Sweet bouffon! Sophie Power brilliantly combines sensitivity + power, tenderness + thrills, consent + mischief -- much like her eponymous character. Even at a late night show, she gets everyone on board with all of her offers, including an unhinged conga line that seals a ritual. (You had to be there.)... full review

This show was fabulous - strong performance, great concept, edgy-yet-considerate audience interaction. Sophie teeters on the edge of making you so uncomfortable about cvnts, and then reminding you that that societal shame is the very problem. So you stay in your seat, wanting to see more, more, more! If you are studying to be a clown, this is required viewing. Sophie does classic buoffan clowning yet feels incredibly modern. This show is funny, fun and sneakily political without ever feeling didactic.... full review

My favorite thing about this show was that every time there was a lull, Sophie returned to what I can only assume (because I missed the first 5 minutes) was the (for some reason) slightly evil (in a fun way) embodiment of an orgasm, and it made me laugh every time. She's a performer with such delight in her eyes, it made the entire show entrancing to watch. (AND can we have a round of applause for the costume??) BRILLIANT.... full review

AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL. Sophie is so skilled in bringing us into her world, teasing us without making us feel bad, and celebrating our humanity in the most inclusive way. This absolutely ROCKS, should be required watching for everyone at the festival.... full review
