What I liked

Sophie’s costume, makeup, physicality, and voice are all wonderful; clearly a lot of work has been poured into this show! Her skills as a performer are impressive, teasing and poking the audience with just the right pressure. And the sacrament I received was delicious. (If any of this sounds like an innuendo, that’s just the state that CVNT left me in!)

My overall impression

Sweet bouffon! Sophie Power brilliantly combines sensitivity + power, tenderness + thrills, consent + mischief — much like her eponymous character. Even at a late night show, she gets everyone on board with all of her offers, including an unhinged conga line that seals a ritual. (You had to be there.)
