What I liked
The passion of the work and the mythology.
What I didn't like
Rather than Sayadi performing ALL the characters in the story, which he did very well, I wanted other performers to portray the other characters from this mythological town in IRAN.
My overall impression
Sayadi conjures IRANIAN myths about family mortality, pearl diving, pregnant women, exorcism, darkness and light in nature, superstitions, paternal power, and child empowerment. Sayadi performs all the characters with intense passion and integrity. I learned about PERSIAN culture and universal themes about family and romantic love.
