There is a scene where the young man is diving for a pearl and it is both literally and metaphorically breathtaking.
What I didn't like
The chair dance was the weaker part, but it was still effective.
My overall impression
I was transported to a different time and place. Shahin is quite the storyteller. This was a fable of good versus evil, young versus old, love versus hate. It was grounded in tradition and helped me recall my own roots in religious fables. It left me with lots to think about.
