I didn’t realize how much I enjoy live-stand-up and adore the flexibility of theatre until I saw THE BOMB. In true form to both, the play illuminates even as it entertains. I had so many good laughs, but all of them went deep into questions of gender, identity, aging, and most of all, why are we so driven to share our stories, to find ourselves and our voice in our art. Dana and Justin are such a dynamic pair as actors and creative partners. Dana’s writing was sharp, grounded, well-paced, and very funny. The direction seamlessly moved from dialogue scenes to stand up comedy scenes and immersed the audience in the plot. Dana Schwartz is a masterful actor/writer. Huen perfectly wry and cynical. Very funny show. She and Huen are great foils for each other, and evoke the love of stand up comedy in all of us 🥰...

I had so much fun at this show! Dana and Justin work so well together and their characters are authentic and hilarious. Very cheeky but you also really see them individually going through challenges in their lives, questioning whether they still have "it" while navigating very relatable midlife shit! Expertly written, this show moves fast. I loved all of it and Dana's sassy attitude! Go see it for the joy of watching these two shine!...
