My overall impression
“Gimme, gimme, gimme a man after midnight. Take me to…” Sorry, I’m supposed to be reviewing. Take me to go see “Disco Therapy!” Liza Dealey-Thomason is a gift, and she is ready to take you out of your darkness. Dealey-Thomason might not be a licensed therapist, but she’s certainly an alchemist, turning her pain and a profound darkness into utter sheer joy that she does not keep to herself, but shares with her audience in this karaoke blast of a show, where not only did I leave feeling human and seen, I’ve left wanting to hug the next person I saw on the street. This is the infectious nature of this show, and you’re not going to want to miss it.
