What I liked
She’s so charismatic and owns the stage when she’s on it. I also felt the audience gaining their own little therapy session through music.
What I didn't like
It was a preview. I know things will get tightened up and the relationship between performer and stage manager will strengthen as well.
My overall impression
Liza has been through a lot and she lets you in, as much as she can given justified trust issues. When things get a little too heavy – she plays the perfect disco track to remind us that there are many ways to get through grief. Like… you can sing and dance through it!
