What I liked
I really liked the costume changes. The archival footage and clips of Sam from her past flipping off her past jobs and rolling her eyes. The musical reprise was a really nice surprise and unexpected. I can see the vision. Would love to see Sam continue making performance art like this!
What I didn't like
It’s a bit choppy all in all. The lyrics for the songs felt a bit simplistic and the whole production could use a bit more polish. For 3 months though it’s damn impressive.
My overall impression
Sam Ditto’s: I Quit felt deeply inspired by Bo Burnham’s comedy performances. Overall I loved the idea and It’s lovely to see a piece of meaningful art that was only made in 3 MONTHS! So impressive for a such a short time frame.
