I will always be drawn to any art that points out the absurdities of life, this industry, and the general pains of being a girl who’s just trynna have a good time on someone else’s dime.
What I didn't like
I think she could’ve gone even farther with the projector visual, lighting, and music cues! But totally understand the limitations of time and budget. In a different timeline, she definitely could’ve used it to support the jokes and take it all a step farther for immersive storytelling.
My overall impression
Nonstop tomfoolery, song and dance, and quitting. Finding out who (what?) her dad was left me gobsmacked. Worth the ticket for that reveal alone tbd.
