What I liked
The level of musical talent and raw storytelling on stage all at one time is just astounding. Powerful immersive staging brings the audience into every moment of it.
What I didn't like
This is not about the show, but you might want to look into having an usher or an audience handler on the side. There was a group of people in the front row that were talking and singing over the show, and were filming on their phones most of the show, obstructing people’s view. For such a powerful, immersive show, it got to be maddeningly distracting. It might be a good idea to have someone on the side to just make sure audience cameras are kept at a minimum.
My overall impression
Holy cow, an absolute powerhouse of a show. James is a musical phenom. Highly highly recommend seeing the show-the music, the story, the honesty, the staging, the cast!! This cast is also extraordinary.
