I really liked the use of humor, music and sadness. I liked that the mother’s voice was music instead of an actual voice.
What I didn't like
I would have loved if there was a sound to accompany the “The End” button being pushed, but that may have been intentional.
My overall impression
The Do Over rocked me in the best way. I can’t stop thinking about it. It was funny, poetic, heartbreaking, therapeutic and a beautiful tribute to the loss of a beloved parent. Rachel provided the audience with an experience that bonded those who have dealt with loss, especially the loss of a parent. The production was stellar. I am so fortunate to have gotten to experience such a beautiful work of art.
