So much to love. Rachel goes there, to all of the dark places she went while she was losing her mom, just after her mom had passed, and years later. Something about this show feels eternal, like a conversation with her mom that is still ongoing, even now. The writing and performance was all incredible, and everything worked together harmoniously to tell her story.
What I didn't like
Nothing. The show is really beautiful. I hope she gets the opportunity to tour this so more people can see it.
My overall impression
A beautiful solo show that shows the audience one person’s experience of grief. The Do Over takes the audience down a road we will all unfortunately need to go down at one point in our lives, but Rachel holds our hand the whole time.
