The comedic timing, the use of props and the prompter. The rawness. The music. Her voice. The way she had her mom’s dialogue as music. The inventiveness of it all. The energy in the audience as we all reacted so viscerally to what was happening.
What I didn't like
Perfection is boring. I wouldn’t change a thing.
My overall impression
Wow. This show blew me away. I was crying one moment and then laughing through the tears the next moment. It was an emotional roller coaster in the best sort of way. Rachel is so vulnerable, honest, and funny. The way she flipped grief on its head was so refreshing. Run, don’t walk. And bring tissues.
