What I liked

The writing and the actors. Both spot on. It was wonderful to see a new work be so complete and apt unto itself. A load of laughs that were well-earned and some truer moments that spoke to our shared humanity. Well done!

What I didn't like

I don’t have a lot of critique. Fringe, by it’s nature, is basic set-ups and quick turnovers. Production levels are modest. But in this instance, the simplicity served the project well. A win-win.

My overall impression

This was a fun behind-the-scenes romp through the idiosyncrasies of two journeymen actors. Using the paradigm of a prosaic buddies/cop show to explore the underlying vicissitudes of their existence. Mostly light-hearted dark comedy with some touching moments and insightful glimpses into their separate generational worlds.
