Such a fun and appropriately bonkers show! Even if you don’t get to see the 1990 film Troll 2 beforehand, on which this musical is based, you’ll be wanting to see it afterwards! What a weird, wonderful, wild ride! Turning movies into musicals has been a tradition for years but crafting a cleverly odd and campy musical like Nilbog! out of one of the worst movies ever made should be the standard of Fringe festivals from here on out. The cast was fully committed to this strange journey, and we are all the better for it. The music was catchy and the choreography fully captured the bizarre world of Nilbog!
