What I liked
The acting! Both Shayna and Jonathon were phenomenal. The physical comedy was so good, I couldn’t look away for a second in case I might miss a sideways glance or a glare that would give me more insight into what their relationship entailed. Also Shayna has an INCREDIBLE singing voice.
What I didn't like
Can we turn this into an hour and a half of Shayna singing and monologuing please? Thank you!
My overall impression
It was amazing! As a fellow film history buff I couldn’t get over just how many gems were in the script. I loved going through my internal Wikipedia trying to name movies that felt like references. I couldn’t stop laughing but somehow I also couldn’t help but feel for Micki. It’s tough work being a bitch.
