My first Hollywood Fringe show. Heck, my first one person show! Listening to Eric tell his story as Charlie felt like listening to a friend telling a gripping story of his past, warts and all. Eric wasn't acting. He became Charlie and I was truly on the edge of my seat waiting to hear how everything in his fictional life turned out.
Thank you Hollywood Fringe for hosting such a wonderful event....

These days we cringe, but once upon a time we used to find the courage to tell someone else about our fumblings and foibles with as much honesty as we could muster even as we winced at our failings and forgave ourselves all in the same breath. That's what Eric Weiner is doing in this one-man show. Let him tell you a story--really tell it--as if it were coming to him for the first time. As if you're in his kitchen and he's moving the chairs around to tell you a thing that maybe he hasn't told anyone because it's too close-to-the-heart to put into words, never mind feel together....

My Life Is A Sonnet is an exceptionally intelligent and beautifully crafted piece of theater that completely held my attention from beginning to end. This is the kind of solo performance that reminds you how powerful great storytelling can be when placed in the hands of a truly gifted performer.
Eric Daniel Weiner delivers a deeply cerebral and emotionally layered performance, navigating themes of love, regret, vulnerability, and self-discovery with remarkable authenticity. What impressed me most was his ability to balance profound introspection with just the right amount of wit and subtle humor, allowing the audience to laugh, reflect, and remain fully engaged throughout the entire journey.
This is thoughtful, mature theater at its fi...

Amazing one man show
Incredibly entertaining and moving one man show. Eric has mined the "T" (truth) from his real life experiences into an honest, funny, insightful, heartfelt show. His performance is amazing--somehow both raw and self-aware. Confident in what he's sharing but also self-deprecating and funny. The play is a tightly written at 60 minutes with so many great details and callbacks. The final one had the audience gasp....

A wonderful one hour one man show that is masterfully acted by Eric Weiner. Performed with such a light touch, ease and comfort, it made us feel as audience members relaxed, effortlessly engaged. It felt as though it was fully autobiographical. ...
