So, this was my first theater play since high school, and naturally, I was more impressed with the outcome of stage presence. At first, it was confusing because I didn’t understand the title. However, as the different scenes progressed, I started to grasp the meaning. The parts that were funny were genuinely hilarious. There were also certain situations and lines that resonated with me, making me reflect and think deeply. What a delightfully original and entertaining performance. This one-man show takes the absurd premise of a theater production being canceled because the world is ending and turns it into a nonstop hour of laughs and clever storytelling. The performer carried the entire show effortlessly, switching between characters, scenarios, and emotions with incredible energy. Some of the funniest moments came from the increasingly ridiculous attempts to continue the production despite the impending apocalypse, along with the hilarious interactions with imaginary cast members, audience members, and end-of-the-world announcements.
