I came in having no clue what I was walking into and left being absolutely blown away by the level of skill, connectivity, and Anděl's awareness of her own strength as an improviser. The loose structure allowed for a maximum amount of chaotic laughs, while keeping the audience engaged. Also, Alex Burke was in it?? What the fuck? Let me start over. I came in thinking Anděl is a nice person whose show I was hoping would be good. I left thinking Anděl is a mad genius and one of the most gifted improvisers I think I've had the pleasure of watching perform....

Andel is a top tier improviser, which is fine, but Andel is also a top tier clown, and JC is a top tier person, but also a top tier musician. Anyway: one of my favorite fringe shows ever....

It is a daunting premise, and one that would never work with a less skilled performer. However, Andel truly rolls with the punches to create an improvised solo show that, while it different each performance, is not only entertaining, but suffused with a deep love of the form....

I mean... It seemed impossible, but Andel made it look so easy. The play with the audience, the off-kilter feeling that so many (clown) solo shows have, the energy of Andel's performance... Wow, just really great. Every needs to go out and see this! If nothing else, it's an inspiration to the production of solo shows!...
