I had a knot in my throat the entire time, then eventually actual tears. I was captivated by her talent and story telling. Not only is she the most talented hand balancer I have ever seen, but also was able to share her story in the most vulnerable way. A way that brought tears, laughter and an immense amount of awe. I left feeling inspired, so moved and grateful for the experience. Congrats & THANK YOU Junru! Your new fan, Yesenia ... full review

Junru took us on a journey through her childhood. One that started with innocence, inspiration and joy. She then created awe by demonstrating the rigors of her acrobatic training and precision of her elite balancing skill. But then we are torn apart by the dark side of this journey and the trauma she suffered to achieve the pinnacle of her circus career. And finally she emerges from this finding herself as an artist. This show was a stunning example of combining theater and acrobatics to tell an important story. It should not be missed. ... full review

This was such a moving piece. It’s a wonderful combination of adorably funny and devastatingly sad. Junro’s story is incredible and is told with an exuberance that almost becomes shocking as more details of her training are revealed. Beautifully directed by the ever so talented Camillia Monet. Loved it. ... full review

A unique dive into an artists experience being pushed from 4 years old to perform with Cirque Du Soleil at 9 years old. A story of confronting their past to embrace who they are as an artist. Ans its funny somehow!... full review

Mesmerizing close-up acrobatics framed by a personal story is an unbeatable combination. The show subtitle could be "feats of skill and feats of will", though that trivializes both achievements. In the end it's both an inspiring story and a cautionary tale, with a beautiful final scene where she synthesizes a new direction for herself.... full review
