I really appreciated the story line and the chemistry between the two actors. It was fun to see both of them develop and have such a great character arc. There were also some really great sentimental moments. I caught myself saying, “aww” involuntarily. The characters were very easy to empathize with.
What I didn't like
There really isn’t much, however, if I had to say one thing, I think from a performance standpoint, there were a couple moments that the actors played into the jokes. The script was written well enough that the jokes told themselves, and I think it would’ve contributed to the natural realism feel to just let the comedy of the writing carry the jokes rather than waiting for the laugh. Even still – I can’t think of any specific examples right now, I just remember thinking that at one point during the performance. It was great overall.
My overall impression
I came in knowing nothing about the show, so it was so much fun to learn the shows concept as it was progressing. The performances were great and it was genuinely such an enjoyable show. I left feeling inspired as an artist and it was a great reminder of why I am an actor – especially in the scary world we live in now with AI and the uncertainty of where my next gig is coming from.
