My Dad's Kid

What I liked

Lovely writing. I was genuinely rooting for both characters, while disliking and liking certain aspects of both of them- which is how you feel about pretty much every human you meet in real life.

Both actors were very fun to watch. Great chemistry between them.

My overall impression

MY DAD’S KID is an endearing story of two polar opposites (an East-coaster and a West-coaster) unwillingly pulled together by their shared familial tie: their very imperfect father. Witty dialogue and empathetic, relatable characters draw the audience in, and by the end, it feels like Greg and Pam are your troubled yet lovable friends you’ve known for years.
