The audience yelled at the characters on stage like they were watching a scary movie! This dark comedy drama will make you squirm in your seat, laugh out loud, shock you, challenge you, and leave you arguing with your friends for days after experiencing it! Read the trigger warnings. Go with friends, don't go on a date.... full review

This show is genuinely why I love the fringe festival; it’s so uniquely suited to this format and is truly one of the better submissions I’ve ever seen across many years of fringe. ... full review

This play was unlike any I've seen! The initial concept of exes doing a podcast together is already so enticing, only improved by the actors' fantastic character work. All 4 of them brought a lot of depth and nuance to their characters, which was so important for this piece. ... full review

Insanely good. I will be thinking about this one for a long time. Great writing and direction. Spectacularly good acting: bringing such complex and flawed people to life in such a riveting way is a true feat!... full review

Smart, funny, thought provoking, boundary pushing! The writing and the way the characters treated each other constantly had me rethinking the way I viewed each of them and all of their relationship dynamics. Sensitive topics were handled with care but also a degree of levity that balanced out the difficult feelings the story was evoking.... full review

I didn't buy a ticket to Playback, what I bought a ticket to was GAG CITY because the entire time, my jaw was dropped! It was wonderfully executed and phenomenal from performance to design to writing. The actors did an amazing job! Kylie Buckles Hall as Bobby is the perfect choice! She captured the character in such a loveable way. Casting overall was great! The complexity of the relationship dynamics between each character was interesting and left myself wanting more from each of them. The sound design and inner workings of a podcast studio were fun and it did feel more intimate in a way, which did lead me to feel more engaged as an audience member. I thoroughly enjoyed myself!... full review
