What I liked

- Love the initial atmosphere set. The hands moving felt very Adams family, kind of a nostalgic fun / silly / creepy.

- Such great play with the audience. It’s so simple, yet so effective. Accordion stuff is all brilliant.

- I love the Scooby doo lights on lights off chase scene

- The promise of jump scares that change every show is really intriguing

What I didn't like

- be better (jk)
- I really really love the push to the messaging at the end. I feel like if you continue to develop this, I would love to see this creature incorporated even more. what happens if they truly take over? what does it look like to have this thing slowly take over? does your appearance change during the show?
- I think in a bigger space, you can even have some moments where creature is in the audience. jump scares in true pitch black playing with lights on and lights off
- I think when you’re onstage, we feel very safe with you. maybe there are some more moments where you disappear and we’re left to squirm in fear a little bit. (kind of going back to the creature taking over idea, what happens when we lose Jackie, or the creature wins temporarily)
- The dance is really cool. What if it becomes a creepy partner dance with your other self too?
- is there a way to get an audience member onstage for something? kind of like a scary escape room scenario where they can help with something. maybe that’s too much, just brainstorming

so awesome and can’t wait to see what you do next with this !!

My overall impression

Jackie is just a special force onstage. She has this magnetic charisma with the audience that makes you feel like you’re laughing with a friend, that you’re sharing an inside joke. For Hysterical, she lures you in with that presence and then makes you question whether you were a total asshole for laughing by the end. Fun, creepy, thrilling. Whatever next is, she got it!
