What I liked
The tone! The lights! The soundscape! I really loved everything about this, even the more WIP aspects of it. Jackie is such an engaging performer, and she’s crafted a one-of-a-kind Fringe show.
What I didn't like
I wanted to see the accordion connect more to the other aspects? Even if it was just a transitional bit that engaged with the haunted portion, I think that would help.
My overall impression
Probably my favorite show of this year’s Fringe! It’s beautiful and funny and horrifying. It also felt like the show welcomed an audience. The production value felt high, the performance and tone felt so intentional… An incredible watch. Especially from a clown, there’s no other show like this one.
