What I liked
The emotional risk is palpable, which is what makes the flops so deeply funny. Every time the costume got caught on the door, or the lights aren’t dark enough, we see the vulnerability and it’s just really really funny. Which only deepens the internal conflict Jackie’s exploring.
What I didn't like
You deserve to have photos taken of you killing it in a full house!!!!
My overall impression
Extremely compelling, funny, dark, occasionally scary, emotionally vulnerable piece of theater right here. Jackie is doing something exciting marrying horror with clown, and it’s working. I thoroughly enjoyed this and encourage you to check it out.
