So friggin funny AND unsettling at the same dang time!!! Jackie masterfully balances what could be very conflicting tones and creates a clown show that'll make you jump in terror as much as you laugh out loud. From the moment, we walked into the theater, I felt transported to a claustrophobic and gothic setting thanks to the Skiptown red curtain that seemed inches away from the front row. As mysterious gloved hands poked out of the curtain to start the show by getting the entire audience to start counting down but then randomly counting all over the place, I knew we were in "good hands." Excuse me...A horror clown show? That gives you the giggles and the jumps? Jackie is one of the best clown/performers to be doing it. She is an expert in pacing, clown and world building.
